Logis Hotel Restaurant La Tour

This was my second visit to La Tour Hotel Dunieres. It looks superficially like any typical roadside motel type place in a very ordinary location but of course this time I knew what to expect and that is a far from ordinary hotel. The rooms and facilities are exceptionally good and the restaurant is outstanding. I was suffering from stomach cramps when I arrived and needed to sleep that off and consequently was very very late for dinner and thought without much hope I would simply ask if any food at all was possible. The fantastically helpful staff quickly suggested a dish they could serve and this was then accompanied with a number of other wonderful courses and so I ended up with a full meal despite the late hour. This was a real treat because I knew from the experience of my previous visit that this was one of the best restaurants I have ever visited in France in over 30 years.

The room was Comfortable and we enjoyed having a space of terrace to sit and enjoy the sun The restaurant was exceptional, offering a variety of menus and a la carte. The daily menu was delicious and extremely good value. All the staff made an effort to accommodate our poor French

An absolute gem of a hotel. For those cycling the Via Fluvia, add it to your list. Great rooms, superb dinner, great breakfast, great service, nice and quiet, 5 stars!!

modern rooms including bathroom, private parking, good Wi-Fi, excellent dinner (even when the restaurant was closed) and breakfast , everything is local and homemade, always nice to stay there
